Part of a much larger Storm Cast Eternal commission - the Prosecutors! Unlike the other miniatures I wanted to include a counter point to the moody blue hues used throughout and have golden wings.

If you would like to learn how to paint this miniature why not sign up to the online tutorial service?

Moving with incredible speed and purpose, a front line of Protectors is a marvelous sight that strikes fear into the heart of the followers of Chaos. Able to weave their Stormstrike Glaives in intricate patterns that create strange shields of celestial energy, the Protectors cast the incoming projectiles aside in a display of their inexorable advance. Once they draw close to the enemy, the Protectors use their dextrous abilities to carve, slice and annihilate!

Legends are told all across the mortal realms of the Great Drake, Dracothion. An immense creature, ruler of the night sky, his form has been picked out in stars across the firmament for countless generations, inspiring awe and wonder in all who gaze at the heavens. His offspring, the Stardrakes, descended from the constellations above - huge, reptilian creatures with vast wings and serpentine necks, noble of aspect and filled with celestial magic. Ridden into battle by the strongest and most powerful warriors of the Stormcast Eternals Extremis Chamber, these fearsome creatures of Order can tear apart even the most berserk champion of Chaos in mere seconds.

This is the first Stormcast Eternal I have painted - I can see lot of scope for creativity with so many clean open surfaces (I did experiment with marble on the shield).
