When I first received the Betrayal at Calth I was determined to get the best out the the rather static looking Contemptor dreadnought. It still has the aesthetic feel of the resin Contemptor but doesn't have the spirit.

So, I wanted to use this as a practice piece to see exactly how far I could push weathering and chipping techniques. This is the result. I've taken step by step instructions on how I created this for an extreme advanced weathering article.

Paints used: Vallejo, Reaper Master Series, Games Workshop Washes, Com Art Medea Airbrush Airbrush: Iwata Hi-Line HP-CH Airbrush Paint Brushes: Rosemary & Co. Raphael 8040, Broken Toad Brushes, Windsor and Newton Series 7

  2. Great work as always.
I've found that contemptor is quite easy to pose once you start chopping it up :-)
